A clean room is a happy room... wait, what?

Moving requires boxes, junk, and good looking men to lift it for you ; ) though I can check yes to the first two, the third, unfortunately, is a negative in this particular move.
I never knew I could fit so much in such a small room (9x17 to be exact, which is such a lie). It's a good thing I sent crates, and clothesbaskets, and boxes home in waves so as to avoid the truck jam packed with junk I really never needed in the first place.

Now I have to fit all of those things from school in my room ... and the junk room ... along with all of the things that were already in my room. Since my grandma and I plan on having a garage sale in a few weeks, I got to get rid of many things. I cleaned/painted my closet, re-stocked that (you should see my shoe collection, it is displayed beautifully if I do say so myself).
My room includes a desk that is built into the wall along with cabinets that surround that. All of my clothes are in either those cabinets or my closet. I am classified as a packrat, most definitely, so my cabinets are also packed with things that aren't anything required or necessary for ... well, anything. In sorting through all of the unnecessary clutter, I found so many old things that I had forgotten to throw away a long time ago and that I still refuse to throw away. I found yearbooks all the way from middle school along with a homemade one from fourth grade. I found newspapers from when our high school boys basketball team made it to quarterfinals for State one year. I found the paper that had an article on Jessie Tran's accident. I found old pictures, certificates and awards from school, books, scrapbooks, and journals (those were reeeeal funny).

It was really nice to take a trip down memory lane and then either throw away or keep the memorbilia.

I miss those times, they were so simple.
But I am so excited to grow up and become an adult. To work in the world and really show what I can do ... or hope to be able to do.
