lists.

[randoms.

I'm okay at writing, when it comes to something I want to write about.
I've discovered this since writing papers has never been my biggest thing, but writing blog entries is something of importance to me... obviously. I'm not real keen on writing papers where there must be organization, transitions, thesis statements, etc. But when it comes to writing about something I'm passionate about, lemme at it. I would never call myself a good writer, just a good feelings express-er.

I want to go on another cruise.
I went on my first cruise last year

My mom asked me whether or not I wanted a pool, or to go on a cruise. I chose the cruise since I would be leaving to go away and the pool would not have benefited me much at all since UMich isn't exactly in my backyard.. where the pool would be located. So we went on a four-day cruise in the Bahama's with my grandma (pictured above, with our waiter). It was the most fantastic thing I've ever done. Whenever someone suggests to go somewhere and stay in a hotel, my instant response is typically, "Do hotels put the dinner napkins in your lap? No. Do they make towel animals everytime they clean your room? Sometimes, but usually no. Do they sing and dance for you when you eat dinner? No. And can you lie by the pool when you're in the middle of the ocean? I think not." It's pretty self explanatory.
The point of this was to say that next year, we are going on one for my sister's senior trip. And then when I'm a junior in college, to take a break from MCAT prep etc, I wanna go on a trip with my friends. I think that would be amazing. It'd be safe and relaxing. We wouldn't have to worry much about locals, and we could just tip back and relax for the week. If someone feels like drinking, they can do it on the boat and still be safe. I think it's genius. Expensive, but genius.

I don't know where I got motivation from, but sometimes I wish I wouldn't have gotten it.
Why is it that chose to be one of the hardest things in the world? More of, why did I choose an occupation that requires 12-14 years of schooling? Honestly, I don't wanna talk about it. But as soon as I become one and get those first few paychecks, you better believe they're going towards a fantastic vacation with my boyfriend/fiance/husband/whatever I've got at the time.
